Everything in this section is a prohibited weapon or ammunition under section 5 of the Firearms Act 1968.
We can supply these items to persons or organisations holding the appropriate Home Office Section 5 authority, or to a person who has the correct variation on their FAC. See our FAQs.

You must hold the correct certificate or authority, and it must be valid on the day of the transfer:
- Rifles and other Section 1 firearms — Firearm Certificate (FAC), with a slot for what you are buying.
- Shotguns — Shotgun Certificate (SGC), for most; some fall under Section 1 and need an FAC instead.
- Heritage and Humane dispatch pistols — Available only to holders of the appropriate Home Office Section 5 authority or to FAC holders with a variation for a heritage or humane dispatch pistol.
- Antiques and accessories — usually no certificate, but the antique exemption is narrower than people assume. See the FAQ.
We check every certificate before a gun changes hands, and we notify your issuing police force as the law requires.
